IronOne Technologies Conducts Sustainability Reporting Workshop for Sri Lanka Climate Fund

In an initiative aimed at enhancing the understanding of sustainability reporting standards, Thusitha Jayanath from IronOne Technologies led a one-day workshop for the staff members of the Sri Lanka Climate Fund under the Ministry of Environment. The workshop focused on the new International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for sustainability disclosures and their implementation.

As sustainability reporting becomes increasingly critical in global and local contexts, this training is a significant step towards ensuring that the Sri Lanka Climate Fund is well-prepared to align with international norms and enhance transparency in its operations. The interactive session included case studies, group discussions, and Q&A segments, allowing participants to gain a comprehensive understanding of the new requirements.
